Writing prompt: The castle

READY TO WRITE A STORY?
The castle rests where land ends, battered by sea and storm. Its roof is long gone, its turrets worn down, but memories still roam within what’s left of its walls.

Reach for your notebook and write what you hear.
Try writing 100 words or setting a timer for five to fifteen minutes and see where your story leads. We’ve got some great tips for using word prompts here. Happy writing!
