Using your planner

What is inside the Life Planner? 

Our Life Planners are a guided experience designed to help you create the life you love and make your dreams happen. 

The opening section includes special coaching pages designed to give you clarity around your true path and what your dream life looks like. You’ll then set the best goals for you and plan your journey. All the activities are supported by a library of articles on our website, offering you additional guidance from a certified coach.

Every week, there is a new, ten-page section that harnesses our proven Time DesignTM techniques to help you get the most out of your days and do more of what you love. You’ll start by setting your goals for the week and then, every day, you’ll decide your top three priorities and reflect on your progress. At the end of the week, there is a deeper reflection designed to keep you motivated and keep growing.

The Life Planners are undated so you can start any time of the year!

How long will I need to spend planning every day?

The daily pages have been optimised to take just ten minutes a day and could save you hours a week by focusing your energies.

We recommend spending 5 minutes setting your priorities in the morning (or the night before if you like to plan ahead) and 5 minutes in the evening reflecting. It’s wonderful to close each day with this uplifting experience.

Of course, if you love spending longer planning, you absolutely can. Enjoy!

Will I need to use my planner daily?

The Life Planner has a dedicated page for each day of the week (Monday to Sunday). We would encourage you to use it every day to get the most out of the experience. Regular steps create momentum. It’s always better to do something than nothing. We recommend setting three priorities a day but, if you have an unusually intense day ahead, try to have at least one personal priority amidst all the activity.

However, if you miss a day, don’t beat yourself up. Life happens. Just turn to the next page and continue your journey. You can do it!

You may choose to skip a week if you’ll be going on holiday or spending time away for any other reason. Why not take a notebook with you and enjoy the wonderful benefits of journalling? You’ll find some fabulous ones here. When you get back, your planner will be ready and waiting to give you a positive leap back.

Planner specifications

How big is the Life Planner?

The planners are 216mm x 154mm – just slightly larger than A5.

When designing the planners, we felt this would be the perfect size not only to have on the desk but carry in a bag or case.

There are 280 pages in total.

What materials make up the Life Planner?

The Life Planners are made using paper from sustainable forests which can be recycled. The 100gsm pages are smooth and uncoated to ensure you can enjoy writing on them with a variety of inks.

The covers are hardback, for durability, with a silk finish.

How many months does the Life Planner cover?

Unlike many productivity planners that last just 90 days, the Life Planner is a six-month experience. When designing the planners, we felt this gave just the right balance between pace and results. It also provides a healthy period of time to introduce positive habits and embed them comfortably into your way of living.

Most of our customers enjoy the Life Planner experience so much that they continue their journey with another beautiful design. Because of this, we are considering introducing a subscription option in the future. Watch this space!

Ordering your planner

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer secure online ordering and accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal. All prices are in GBP. Payment for international orders will be processed at the current exchange rate and will appear this way on your bank statement.

Will my favourite design be available at a later date?

We typically refresh our collections twice a year with new designs and fresh colour variations of our popular and classic prints.

Therefore, we cannot guarantee a design you love now will be available forever. We would definitely recommend ordering now.

Can I order a planner as a gift?

Absolutely. What a wonderful idea to give someone the opportunity to make their dreams happen! You’ll be able to personalise the design you think they’ll love most to make it extra special.

We also offer a gift-wrap option which comes with a handwritten message featuring the words of your choosing.

Oops I made a mistake. Can I correct my order?

If you have made a mistake on your order – for example a spelling or formatting error – there may be a chance it hasn’t yet gone into production. Please contact us within 3 hours of placing the order and we’ll see what we can do.

If production has begun on your order, unfortunately, no changes can be made.

Can I cancel my order? 

As soon as your payment is accepted and the order is confirmed, it enters the production process. Due to the personalised nature of our products, cancellation is not possible once production has begun. Therefore, we will always do our best to accommodate cancellations but cannot guarantee.

The personalised nature also means we are unable to offer returns or refunds for products which have been received as ordered without significant faults.

Delivery

How soon will my Life Planner be shipped?

Once ordered, your Life Planner will made especially for you and beautiful packaged. Planners are usually dispatched within 3-5 days. You’ll receive an email from us letting you know when yours is on its way.

Once the package has left our workshop and is in the hands of Royal Mail, we are not responsible for delivery delays or if a package is not able to be delivered due to address errors. So, please make sure you have filled this out correctly.

Do you ship planners internationally?

We currently ship to the UK only but plan to expand internationally soon.

What if there is an issue with my order?

We want you to be happy with the stationery you receive so, if you experience any issues at all with your order, please contact us so that we can make it right.

If your stationery arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at shop@originallife.com within 7 days of receipt so we are able to resolve the issue. Please include a photo as proof of the damage and we will happily replace your item.

Can I request a refund?

Due to the personalised nature of our planners, we are unable to offer returns or refunds for products which have been received as ordered without significant faults.
