#100Words winter competition shortlist
We’ve enjoyed spending several frosty mornings reading the wonderful stories longlisted for our international, #100Words story competition inspired by a beautiful winter scene.
With so many intriguing narratives on the list, the judging has been tough, but we’ve finally agreed the shortlist of stories below.

What happens next?
Judge, Amanda Saint, now has the unenviable task of picking the winners from the shortlist. It’s going to be tough to decide!
We’ll be publishing all the shortlisted stories here on Lightbox Originals on 7th December and will be announcing the winners at the same time.
Our next international, #100Words story competition will be coming in spring 2021 and will be inspired by another beautiful image.
