We’ve had a wonderful weekend reading through over 230 stories submitted and, with such a high standard of diverse narratives, it’s been tough to agree the long list.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The kettle is on and we’re back to reading again over warm mugs of tea. We’ll be announcing a shortlist of ten stories on 30th November.
Judge, Amanda Saint, will be selecting the winners and they will be revealed on 7th December. We’ll also publish the winning stories for you to read.
Our next international, #100Words story competition will open in spring 2021 and will be inspired by another beautiful photograph.
